Who it’s for

For people who have never had a CPA plan their taxes: you file your own return, or your preparer only records what already happened. A plan changes what happens next. It’s built for:

  • Business owners, freelancers and 1099 earners who file their own return
  • Anyone unsure what to pay in quarterly estimates
  • Rental property owners
  • People with RSUs, bonuses or a big year
  • Anyone near retirement weighing a Roth conversion
  • Anyone who has ever been surprised by their balance due

How it works

  1. 1

Order and sign. Pay securely, then e-sign a short engagement letter that spells out exactly what’s covered.

  2. 2

Upload. Send last year’s return and a few current-year numbers through a secure upload. The checklist tells you exactly what’s needed.

  3. 3

Review. I go through everything and send at most one list of questions.

  4. 4

Get your plan. About 10 business days after your documents are complete, you’ll have your plan, a dated action list, a one-page memo for your preparer (or your own filing notes), and your 2027 estimated-payment schedule with reminders.

What you get

  • Last year’s return, reviewed. Find out what it got wrong: errors, missed deductions and credits, and elections not made.
  • The plan. Where your 2026 tax stands and what each move changes.
  • Your action list. What to do, by when, and who does it.
  • A memo for your return. The elections and positions to take, to hand your preparer or to use yourself if you file your own.
  • Estimated-payment reminders before every due date through January 2028.

File it yourself, or keep your preparer

If you file your own return, the memo is your filing notes. If you have a preparer, you don’t have to switch: hand them the memo. If you’d like us to prepare your 2026 return instead, the full price of a Snapshot, Owner or Complex plan comes off the fee when you engage us by February 28, 2027.

Guarantee

If the plan isn’t useful to you, tell me within 14 days of delivery and I’ll refund your fee in full.

FAQ

I file my own taxes. Is this for me?

Yes. It’s built for you. You get a CPA’s review of last year’s return, what to do before December 31, what to pay each quarter, and filing notes for your own return.

Do I have to switch preparers?

No. Keep your preparer. The plan is written so your current preparer can use it.

Do you work with clients outside New Jersey?

Yes. Everything is online, and clients anywhere in the US are welcome.

Which package do I need?

Pre-tax retirement savings and a few years of conversions to plan: the Roth Conversion Plan. Want it done every year, with your RMDs and IRMAA checked each fall: the Annual Retiree Plan. Just this year, with no business or rentals: Snapshot. If you pick the wrong one, I’ll tell you before any work starts and refund the difference or the whole fee.

Will this lower my taxes?

Every situation is different, and nobody can promise a result. The plan shows the moves available to you and what each one changes, using your numbers.

Is it too late for this year?

Order by December 10 and you’ll have your plan by December 22, while the year-end moves are still open. After that, the plan covers 2027.

Do you file my return?

Not as part of the plan. You can engage us separately, with a Snapshot, Owner or Complex plan’s full price credited.

What does it cost after delivery?

Nothing. Reminders are included. Optional add-ons: mid-year update $199, extra state $99, a 30-minute call $99.
